Etosha Safari Lodge
If you’re looking for a great base to explore the wonder that is Etosha National Park, then look no further. This lodge is situated on a ridge with sweeping views of Namibia’s bushveld, only ten kilometres from the Park's central entrance, Anderson Gate. This family-friendly lodge ticks all the boxes for a safari rest camp. It has value for money, it’s modern, the food is good, there’s excellent service, the rooms are clean, there’s great facilities and it’s very easy on the eye.

The hotel
The lodge has a large communal area with an indoor and outdoor restaurant, boasting an impressive view. There’s a sizable bar with beer on tap, three swimming pools to choose from and a curio shop. You’ll find plenty of chill spots from a couch in the lounge or a spot on the scenic balcony to scan the vast expanse of mopane woodland for giraffes. Did we mention there’s a local African band who entertain in the evenings?
The rooms
The private face brick bungalows are spacious, clean and unfussy. They’re equipped with white-linen beds, a writing desk, air con, tea and coffee making facilities and a veranda with beautiful views over the landscape. There are 65 chalets on site including five for families.
On safari
Experiences
Visitors who stay at Etosha Safari Lodge can explore the national park with the lodge’s knowledgeable guides. They are familiar with Ethosha’s iconic waterholes and myriad of animals that frequent them. Visitors can also take themselves on a self-drive safari. Pre-booked safaris head out in the early morning and late afternoon. Full day safaris can also be arranged.
