Luxury and style with an outstanding range of safari activities
This seasonal camp (May - March) found in the Mara Naboisho Private Concession is a unique mix of stone, wood and canvas. The minimalist camp style affords a luxury that does not detract from the wilds beyond the tent flaps. Enjoy the expansive views in a lion king type setting, while relaxing on your private daybed.
At the lodge
The dining and lounge tents are built with wooden, carpet covered floors and form a semicircle, looking out onto the expansive views of the acacia dotted plains. The lounge is divided into two large spaces, adorned with puffy cushioned sofas and inviting armchairs. The dining tent serves as an interactive area with long communal tables and fabric covered chairs. There is also a viewing deck, place for outdoor meals and even a campfire to welcome in the evening after a day-long safari.
There are nine luxurious en-suite tents, two of which are slightly larger and serve as family options. Laid out with privacy in mind, feel totally immersed in the surrounding wilderness with all your homely comforts at your finger tips. Each tent has an indoor and outdoor shower, a king sized or twin beds, inviting furniture and even a daybed from which to survey your personal corner of the bush.
An incredible variation of activity is available at Naboisho Camp, keeping you busy from dawn until dusk. Game drive usually takes place in the private, secluded conservancy, affording the benefit of night drives and off-roading in pursuit of the numerous big game species. The other game drive option is a full day, with picnic, in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, no off-roading allowed. For the more adventurous, there is walking safari and fly-camping, getting you out of your comfort zone and down to eye level with the animals. Bush walks focus your attention more on the smaller forgotten creatures of a safari getaway. And finally just to change things up, visit the local Maasai village for a touch African culture.
