Three Baobabs Bushcamp
Three Baobabs has four guest tents and a spacious tented dining/lounge area.
The tents are luxurious. They are octagonal in shape, almost seven meters wide, with shade netting and a double roof to assist with cooling. They are built on teak decks with a bathroom attached. The bathrooms have flushing toilets, a shower bath and basin. The baths are positioned to afford privacy but still allow you to see out over the bush.
Whilst this is a tented bush camp, it has all the amenities you would expect at any other lodge you might stay at: flushing toilets, hot water, and electric lights, but you are sleeping under canvas.
All cooking is done on an open fire in front of the dining area. The camp is run on solar power, including the borehole pump, thereby avoiding noisy generators. Whilst the game in the area it is not plenty full we have seen Elephant, Buffalo, warthogs, Kudu, Zebra and Impala, and hear hyena and lion most nights. Being outside the unfenced National Park, we can do walks, with an armed guide, and night drives.
