We had an absolutely amazing time! We could not have had a better experience. With some luck on our side, we were able to see a river crossing and the big five. Both amazing experiences! We also enjoyed an amazing balloon ride! Both places that we stayed offered different but equally great accommodations, which we were looking for. Every person was so welcoming and offered service beyond what we would ever expect. We also don’t know if it was luck or planned, but all our game drives ended up being private. This trip feels like it would have been impossible to put together without the help of Timbuktu or at the very least much more difficult and stressful. Overall we had a fantastic time and we would definitely recommend you guys to others looking to travel to Africa!

Jenna understood what we wanted from the beginning. It didn't take many iterations for her to nail what we wanted to do. She promptly responded to our emails and calls and checked-in before, during and after our trip. Would definitely recommend her and Timbuktu for travel!

We had a wonderful planning experience with Jenna! I’ve never used a travel agent/agency to plan a trip (I’m usually the planner), but this trip required expertise beyond what I’m comfortable doing. Jenna revised our itinerary a few times based on what we were looking for and we feel she really nailed it for us. Independently, this was #1 on our bucket list when we first met so this will be extra (extra) special for us. Our experience was 10/10 and we can’t wait to go on our safari for our honeymoon. Jenna has been so attentive while planning our dream trip to East Africa. Jenna's attention to the details has ensured that our gorilla trek and safari will be exactly as we had hoped. Jenna patiently addressed all of our questions, and she has designed an adventure of a lifetime for us.

It was perfect! Jenna and Nadine were super responsive and everything was so simple and easy. They had great recs and helped me with any questions along the way.

Jenna was great handling the lodging, and Bekim from Exito travel was great handling the flights. I would use Timbuktu and Exito for future trips.
