Annie always responded quickly and patiently answered all my questions. She asked questions about my travel style and likes & dislikes. She then tailored my safari to match what I told her, all within my budget. When I asked her to add on a few days to my trip she offered suggestions as to where I should extend a night and what activities I could do. I am looking forward to this safari adventure planned by Annie and Timbuktu!

So far only have made the reservations. The staff was very responsive and flexible and came up with different ideas that I hadn’t thought of.

Annie helped me create my dream trip to Rwanda and was so kind and patient with answering all of my questions. She tailored my trip based on my interests and the planning process has been pleasant and stress free. Other tour companies I spoke with were much less responsive, more expensive, and did not offer the flexibility that Timbuktu did. I can't wait to take this trip to see the Gorillas in Rwanda!

Timbuktu is excellent. Their attention to detail and expert services exceeded all of my expectations. My travel specialist, Annie, was great!! She was so helpful and so knowledgeable and a delight to work with. The trip went off without a hitch and was absolutely incredible!!! I am already planning a return trip to Kenya with Timbuktu. They are the best!!

I cannot say enough nice things about Timbuktu Travel. I have never used a travel planner before but my husband and I did not have time to do our usual research and had no experience traveling in eastern Africa so we reached out and were put in contact with Annie. Annie was amazing. From the first conversation to the subsequent emails, Annie understood what we were looking for. Most notably, making changes to the itinerary was easy and nothing was forced on to us. Our budget and needs were always respected.

Timbuktu has it all! We never worry about one thing when booking our travel with them. They are very quick to respond and have the best knowledge of where we want to go. It is like they're in my head! Highly recommend!

I would absolutely hire Timbuktu again. Actually I don't think I can ever travel again without them! They made us feel like vip's at every turn. Every hotel was exactly what I was looking for during my 50th birthday trip. Attention to detail was top notch! I booked this trip over two years again and they answered all my questions along the way. We are already planning our return trip to South Africa and you can bet we're going with Timbuktu Travel, they are the best!

This is my third time using Timbuktu and definitely won’t be my last. Every time, I have such a wonderful and authentic experience with the people, land, and culture. Annie and the team make the entire process of booking large, logistic heavy trips so easy. Can’t wait for more experiences with them!

Annie did a great job putting together an enjoyable vacation package. The trip was very enjoyable. I’ll never forget it. Emboo was fantastic. Chale Island was good (with a few odd features). The local agents from Albatros were outstanding!
