



The main lodge complex has a reception area, a lounge with stunning views of the lake, and a dining room. The reception leads out onto an expansive terrace and grassed courtyard with a superb view. The Errol Harrison Museum on the premises is a local history museum curated by the lodge in honour of Errol Harrison a Zululand pioneer, and adventurer. The terrace is a great place to take in the beautiful surroundings at any time of the day.
The accommodation at the lodge consists of two romantic honeymoon chalets, two family chalets and eight standard chalets, set amongst the indigenous trees in the wilderness. Each chalet is a well-lit A-frame structure made of timber with a thatch roof. The chalets are all comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated with en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and have electronic safes and coffee and tea stations. A self-catering chalet is also available for those looking for additional privacy.
There are many wildlife-orientated activities and adventures suitable for adults and kids. Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park is a huge game reserve boasting the Big Five and many other animals. You can go on a self-drive in your own vehicle or go with a professional safari operator in an open game viewing vehicle. Other activities include mountain biking through scenic routes with picnic stops, guided walks which includes forest and lake shore experiences, horse trails, birding, and visits to animal sanctuaries.
