Highly recommend! For our trip, we wanted to just be able to enjoy the experience together. We literally spent zero time each day worrying about logistics (how to get places, where to eat, what to do next) because everything was planned, confirmed, and flowed seamlessly. Jessica did a great job providing overviews and links ahead of time, so that I could get the rest of my family excited and on board too. We are already planning our next trip with Timbuktu!

Tessa Dancer is facilitating our trip to Japan. During the planning process, Tessa sought our input and put together a product that reflected our ideas and her travel and cultural expertise gained during her recent visit including accommodations and experiences. Tessa follows through with details, timelines pricing and suggestions. We chose Timbuktu based on Tessa's customer service. Hoping the actual travel will be as good as the planning process. No idea about any other Timbuktu tours but if the other travel specialists are half as good as Tessa, Timbuktu is a winner.

So far only have made the reservations. The staff was very responsive and flexible and came up with different ideas that I hadn’t thought of.

Third time I’ve used Timbuktu and rep Kristin J for booking a trip. I’ve completed trips to Tanzania and Namibia organized with Timbuktu. Each trip went incredibly smoothly. This time I’m heading to Brazil. Kristin J worked with me to develop a trip for the Pantanal to (hopefully!) see jaguars. Over several weeks she patiently helped me through several iterations to book a land and water based trip that is within my budget and will happen during the best season to maximize the potential of jaguars sightings.

Annie helped me create my dream trip to Rwanda and was so kind and patient with answering all of my questions. She tailored my trip based on my interests and the planning process has been pleasant and stress free. Other tour companies I spoke with were much less responsive, more expensive, and did not offer the flexibility that Timbuktu did. I can't wait to take this trip to see the Gorillas in Rwanda!
