Sirikoi Lodge

The main area's deeply thatched buildings shelter an elegant sitting room with deep chairs arranged around a fireplace. You can eat indoors (with rhinos grazing on the lawn outside), outdoors on the deck or even by lamplight in the bush. The meals are fresh and creative, made with vegetables harvested from the on-site organic garden. Comfy chairs on the deck invite you enjoy those magical wilderness views, and a pool is a welcome sight when temperatures rise.

Sirikoi has four luxury tented rooms, each with an indoor lounge and fireplace, and a seating area on the deck. The beds guarantee undisturbed sleep, and the full en-suite bathroom has a bath with a view. Sirikoi Cottage is designed for small groups, with two bedrooms, each fully en suite, and a shared central area and deck. Sirikoi House has a master-bedroom cottage, a separate two-bedroomed cottage, a central living and dining cottage and a private deck overlooking the wetlands.

There's a plethora of activities to choose from. Take a guided morning or evening game drive, ending with a bush breakfast or sundowners. Explore the wilderness on horseback, crossing stunning scenery and varied terrain to get close to wildlife (rides normally last one or two hours). Venture out on an afternoon camel or quad-bike safari, go swimming in the Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve or visit the local Rendille community. Visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage – it will tug at your heartstrings!
