The lodge is set out like an African village with separate areas of activity. There are three different restaurant areas, a brauhaus, a garden restaurant and a boma area. You can take your pick. The main lodge buildings are brick and quite sterile but when it’s busy the atmosphere makes up for this. You’ll also find a bar with TV, a curio shop and the two swimming pools with loungers and lawn that is soft underfoot.
The guest rooms were recently renovated. They’re clean, modern and minimalist with elements of the bush infused into the interior design. Expect earthy tones, wood and crisp white linen. The rooms are en suite, have air conditioning, a private patio and an outdoor seating area with a picnic table. Ideal for sharing stories of the day and enjoying the beauty of your surroundings.
Taleni Etosha Village caters well to both the self-drive and guided visitors to Etosha National Park. Morning and evening game drives are available from the lodge as well as full day excursions. Looking for something extra special for your family? Book a bush dinner under the stars where you can enjoy an evening of candlelight and cuisine, next to the fire. If the sky is clear you can even marvel at the planets through the lodge’s telescope.
A safari wonderland, where plentiful waterholes amid the salt pans attract even more plentiful game.
