To refer a friend:

  • Introduce your friend to your favourite travel specialist
  • When your friend books their first trip with us, you will receive $200 preloaded onto a visa card

  1. This offer can be used in conjunction with any other eligible offer.
  2. All bookings are subject to availability and our standard Booking Conditions apply.
  3. This offer may be amended, withdrawn or extended without notice.
  4. Once booked, there are no refunds or cancellation rights associated with this offer.
  5. This offer only applies to enquiries made on or after 1 February 2023, the launch date of the Refer a Friend scheme.
  6. This offer is not available to employees of companies professionally associated with Timbuktu.
  7. To qualify, a referred trip must have a total value of USD $2,000 or more. (Minimum booking value may vary during promotional periods.)
  8. Referrals apply only to new, separate trips booked by new customers — not to additional travellers joining an existing trip.
  9. Only one referral reward may be claimed per qualifying booking.
  10. The referral reward amount is USD $200 per booking, not per person.
