Gorillas, rustic luxury and beautiful scenery in the Congo's wild and remote rain-forest.
Kamba Africa operates three camps in the northern parts of The Republic of Congo, in and around the Odzala-Kokoua National Park. This one, Ngaga Lodge, is situated in the heart of the Ndzehi Forest just outside the park boundary and is undoubtedly the best location in Africa to view western lowland gorillas. Gorilla trekking is the main focus at the camp. Still, other activities include exploring the tropical forest on various walking trails, and 'night walks' in search of the elusive nocturnal primates in the area. But being in this remote and truly special environment is extraordinary and will make you want to stay forever.

Kamba operate three camps in the northern parts of The Republic of Congo in and around the Odzala-Kokoua National Park, and the largest camp of the three is Mboko. Twelve rooms are spread along a tributary of the stunning Lekolo River, right on the edge of the tropical forest and overlooking a lush, meadow-like savannah. Activities include game drives, explorations on foot and traditional pirogue trips, but you might not have to go far for your game viewing either with forest buffalo, elephant and hyena regular visitors to the camp. This is also a place for breath-taking views, spectacular star-gazing and simply enjoying all the mesmerising rainforest has to offer.
Conservation ethics and wild luxury in one of Africa's remotest and least-explored places.
Kamba African Rainforest Experiences operates three camps in the northern parts of The Republic of Congo in and around the Odzala-Kokoua National Park. Lango is a luxurious camp in a breathtaking setting, sandwiched between tropical rainforest and wetland in the southern section of the national park. The unique location offers the chance to explore the pristine forest in total seclusion, on game drives, pirogue trips and forest walks. The remarkable environment will enthral you at every turn, and the unusual wildlife simply feels like an added bonus. It's certainly a tourism venture with many challenges, but one that definitely deserves support.

Nestled under the shady canopy of enormous trees, this forest camp accommodates eight people. The ensuite guest chalets - discreetly positioned for privacy - are located a short walk along forest paths from the central area. Each is on a raised wooden deck and shelters under a palm frond roof.
The central area, also on a raised wooden deck, features an airy dining room, lounge, kitchen area, small shop and firepit.
The unfenced forest camp is a 3-minute walk along a walkway from Imbalanga Baï - one of many baïs in Odzala-Kokoua National Park where guests can view secretive wildlife species such as western lowland gorillas and forest elephants.
