Tarangire is particularly beautiful in August. Baobab trees dot the landscape and huge herds of elephant roam over the plains toward the Tarangire River, one of the few water sources in the park. Fly camping is a unique way to explore this primordial landscape, as you walk between beautiful camps set up for you in the bush. This provides a special opportunity to get a grasp on what is happening in the ecosystem on ground level, while still being surrounded by fantastic wildlife.
