Kevin's love of Africa began on a visit to Tanzania when he was 13 and it's lasted a lifetime. From gorilla and chimpanzee trekking and walking beside rhinos to swimming with sharks and bungee jumping in the mist of Victoria Falls, he has an endless bucket list of wildlife and nature experiences. Kevin was once nicknamed Mganga (summoner) by Maasai guides because animals seemed so drawn to him. Now, Kevin uses his personal knowledge to plan trips for travellers, eager to show them the wonders of Africa.

A: I went on my first safari when I was 13 and fell in love with Africa. We went to Tanzania and I couldn't believe how many animals there were. I remember wanting to be a safari guide so I could show people the amazing secrets of the bush.
A: When getting money at a foreign ATM, always decline the conversion rate. The one shown at the ATM is usually 15-20% less than what your bank gives you. By declining, you save yourself that money, and you still get the cash you need.
