History of Livingstone

“The greatest man of his generation” (for the Victorians at least!), David Livingstone was a household name and recognised as a courageous explorer of the unknown. Today, you may have heard the name but not know much about the man himself which is where this visit comes in. At the museum, you’ll see the personal maps and diaries of Dr Livingstone, learn a little more about the history of the Victoria Falls region right up to the present day, and have a chance to explore the wider Anthropological, Natural History and African Culture sections in an informative and interesting couple of hours.
