Africa on Foot is an unfenced wildlife camp specialising in walking safaris - one of the most unique and exciting activities Africa has to offer. Guests are taken deep into the bushveld where they will encounter big game on foot. It is based in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, which shares unfenced borders with Kruger National Park. This allows predators and other wildlife to roam freely throughout the reserves. To ensure that guests are truly immersed in the rustic bush experience and to keep things natural and eco-friendly, the camp is run on solar power, and lanterns decorate the camp.

The main area consists of a comfortable lounge area with couches and a library, built around an old tree trunk. There is a dining room with a large table and an outside boma area and campfire. Traditional South African barbecues are cooked over the open fire. The camp is unfenced and guests are escorted by guides at night. There is a beautiful splash pool with deck chairs where elephants often come to drink water.
Africa on Foot Camp has just five chalets, sleeping ten people, and a tree house, ensuring that guests have an intimate and personal safari experience. Two of the chalets are family units. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, bedside tables, solar powered lamps, and bathroom toiletries. The tree house, is an adventurous option for guests who want to spend a night in the wilderness. It has a game-viewing platform and a top deck with a bed and a great view.
