About Belgrace Boutique Hotel

Lavish country living on Kruger's doorstep
With meandering gardens, old-stone masonry and a nod to Versailles'-style opulence, the Belgrace Boutique Hotel is unapologetically engineered for romance. This sweet little retreat pulls no punches when it comes to the good life. Set on a macadamia nut farm just 20 minutes from both White River and Nelspruit, it sits in the gorgeous sprawling countryside that flanks South Africa's most iconic wilderness area, Kruger National Park. If you're en route to safari, or looking for a few nights of luxury or even a wedding destination, the Belgrace fits the bill very nicely...

Property details

The property

Every corner reveals something interesting, from the stone paths that wind through its neat but pleasantly wild garden to the rich Persian rugs, antiques and old books that decorate the interiors. Various lounges beg you to settle back with a book. In the evening, cosy up fireside with a G&T before dinner at the Rock Fig restaurant – either indoors or on the patio, where tables set beneath the branches of a old rock fig tree glow with fairy lights.

The rooms

Eight large suites typify classic glamour. Their design may vary, but you're assured sweet dreams in their huge, comfortable beds. Wedgewood Suite has a lovely covered veranda with a private Jacuzzi, and a patio perfect for romantic private dining. Bella Rose is considered the honeymoon suite, with its free-standing stone Jacuzzi and wood-burning fireplace. Belmonte Family Cottage has two bedrooms, a spacious lounge and, outside, a private furnished patio. We could go on, but in fact, all are quite lovely!

Activities

Soak up the setting with tea or a glass of bubbly on the veranda. Next, enjoy a little turn about the garden, perhaps a dip in the Jacuzzi or a spa massage. Book dinner at the Rock Fig Restaurant and let tomorrow take care of itself. Whether you're returning from or just embarking on safari, it doesn't hurt to take a moment to breathe and simply indulge in a bit of royal treatment. Remember: you're on holiday.

Each room is elegantly styled with painstaking attention to detail. Cooler colour palates will love the Blue Moon, warmer ones will be taken by the Canterbury.
