The interiors are expansive and light-filled with honeyed wood, leather amrchairs, walls of windows and plenty of overflowing potted plants. The rooftop is the place to be with two comfortable lounges and incredible 360-degree views of the cityscape. The hotel also has two fine-dining restaurants that serve a blend of local and Mediterranean dishes. The breakfast spread is especially impressive with tropical fruits, cereals and an array of hot dishes. The hotel also has a fitness centre and can arrange massages on request.
There are three room types at the Hotel Bioxury GHL, all of which have a King-size bed, desk, minibar and TV. They are decorated in tones of grey and white and enjoy plenty of natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, which also afford visitors with fantastic city views. The bathrooms are neat and well-equipped with beautiful toiletries and three-metre-high rainfall showers. All rooms also have use of complimentary wifi.
The hotel is close to a number of fantastic shopping spots, restaurants and rooftop bars, and nearby Zona T is known for its nightlife. A little further away, visit Bogota's historic La Candelaria area for plazas, cathedrals and the Gold Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of pre-Columbian gold artefacts in the world. You can also peruse local markets for tasty dishes and souvenirs, take a street art tour, or ride the cable car to the top of the Monserrate Mountains.
A dizzying city in the Andes, Bogotá captures the verve of Colombia, both past & present.
