Camps Bay Retreat

An elegant manor house facing the ocean is the centrepiece of this verdant retreat hidden on the edge of tourist hotspot, Camps Bay. What you’ll find here is rolling lawns, an elegant restaurant, wide verandah for shady dining on hot summer's days and lounges and libraries punctuated by big comfy couches, log burning fireplaces and bursting bookshelves. There is a hanging bridge at the end of the garden, where on the other side you’ll find the modern Deck House with guest rooms that feel like an island retreat. On site there is also a natural mountain pool, arboreal spa and a private tennis court.

All the adventures to be found in Cape Town are on your doorstep. Table mountain is a short drive away, you can stroll to Camps Bay beach or enjoy a sundowner cocktail at one of the beach bars, go for a cycle on the Sea Point promenade or venture to the Waterfront for some top-end shopping. On site you can enjoy a range of therapy treatments at the tented spa. A tennis court is just waiting for you to practice your serve and if you’re into hiking and the outdoors, you are situated at the foot of Table Mountain National Park. The iconic Lions Head, offering 360 degree views of the Mother City is a leisurely two hour hike from reception. After a big day of activities, Von Kampf restaurant offers simple, beautiful cuisine, complimented by some of South Africa’s finest wines.
