About Cape Grace Hotel

Refined, traditional luxury and stellar service in the heart of the V&A Waterfront.
Popular with both locals and visitors, the Cape Grace is one of Cape Town’s best loved luxury hotels. And, like its name, it rises gracefully from a private quay, just a bridge away from the bustling Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The atmosphere here is first-class fabulous, combining contemporary, naval-inspired glamour with all the amenities you could wish for, great service and a generous helping of good old-fashioned Cape hospitality. Its 120 rooms, suites and penthouses are spaciously chic; there's a selection of fine restaurants and bars; loads to see; and, of course, that mountain as a backdrop.

The vast entrance foyer has a number of secluded lounges and reading areas with views of the marina and Table Mountain. Fine cuisine is served in the hotel’s elegant Signal Restaurant, and the Bascule Bar serves light meals and a world-class selection of premium cocktails, including South Africa’s largest selection of premium whiskies. There is a fitness studio and spa at the top of the hotel overlooking the waterfront, and a swimming pool and sun deck within the paved gardens.

The rooms

Accommodation ranges from luxury rooms to interleading apartments and family-sized suites with separate lounges and fully equipped kitchens. On the rooftop, a grand penthouse has its own Jacuzzi and outdoor dining terrace. All rooms are beautifully decorated with really comfortable beds, high-quality linens, elegant furnishings, unique local artworks and lush marble en-suite bathrooms. Aircon, wi-fi, satellite TV and minibar are standard. French windows open to views of the harbour or the Waterfront and Table Mountain.

Activities

The Waterfront and working harbour are literally on the doorstep, making the Cape Grace a great spot for exploring the shops, restaurants, markets and famous Two Oceans Aquarium on the seafront. The heart of the city is easily reached via excellent public transport. Visit some of Cape Town’s famous landmarks – Table Mountain, colourful Bo-Kaap and Robben Island; and venture further afield to experience the scenic winelands, Blue Flag beaches and fynbos-rich nature reserves – all within a leisurely driving distance.
