Colina Verde

Colina Verde has plenty of informal living space inside and out, and a wonderful family-friendly feel. At the heart of the villa is an enormous heated swimming pool with a swim-up bar and hot tub alongside, and a dining terrace overlooking the sea. Dining is a relaxed affair on one of the outdoor terraces or in the cosy dining room, depending on the weather. There’s also a rooftop star deck, a tennis court, a small gym and a yoga studio.

Seven vast, en-suite bedrooms are beautifully appointed, each with a unique, wildlife-inspired theme, and gentle colours reflecting the surrounding natural scenery. Two family rooms have raised loft areas with extra beds; great for kids. Bathrooms are en-suite, some with luxurious baths and others with magical outdoor showers. All rooms have mosquito nets, huge windows overlooking the dunes or sea, and either a garden patio, or small terrace on the first floor which wraps around the outside of the villa.

Explore the stunning beaches, dune forests and Indian Ocean however you choose – you’ll have a motor boat at your disposal with an expert captain to show you the best fishing and snorkelling spots. Kayak along the pristine mangrove channels, take a guided game drive to Maputo Elephant Reserve, or visit the nearby village of Santa Maria. Back at the villa, play tennis, cool off in the swimming pool, or soak in a hot tub and enjoy the magnificent views.
