Designed to feel like part of the land, the warm and earthy colours of Ekorian's makes for a cosy environment. The central mess tent is perfect for family dining along with a comfortable lounge for relaxing. The locally-sourced and homemade meals are all tasty, and some produce is even grown in the camp's vegetable garden. There's no lack of comfort here, with 6 simple but spacious tents and en-suites with hot, running water. The tents are raised on wooden decks covered in a papyrus roof. You can choose a twin or double bed arrangement in each room. Tent One is nearest to the dining tent and comes with a kid's annexe, which is ideal for families. Recycled wine bottles are used to supply drinking water in the tents while the complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion are all eco-friendly and chemical-free.
In short, there is a ridiculous amount of things to do here! Head off on a game drive and spot anything from buffalo to elephant and zebra, not to mention the birdlife.
