Ekuthuleni Lodge has sweeping views of the savannah plains, from the main lodge, the bedrooms and the swimming pool area. The main lodge has an elegantly furnished casual lounge and dining room, and includes a large central fireplace which creates an intimate, cosy atmosphere on chilly winter nights. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room or on the open air deck, which has a reed awning for shelter. Cobbled pathways lead to the exclusive and private chalets.
Each of the five suites offer intimacy and privacy, with panoramic views of the grasslands. Guests are able to look out onto the stunning African bushveld from the comfort of their beds. The romantic bathrooms open onto a private courtyard and have indoor and outdoor showers. Hair dryers and tea and coffee making facilities are provided. The family suite is luxurious and spacious and boasts two bathrooms, a main bedroom and a loft area with two single beds.
Two daily game drives are conducted by experienced rangers who will share information on the abundant flora and fauna. Avid bird watchers will enjoy the excellent birdwatching opportunities in the area. This is followed by a scrumptious breakfast. You then have the option of going for a swim in the swimming pool overlooking the scenic grassy plains, relaxing at the lodge or indulging in a midday siesta. The evening game drive is followed by nocturnal game-viewing and a dinner feast.
