Property details

The property

Galton House's minimalist style is accented with splashes of bright colours. The serene communal areas consist of a large lounge with comfortable sofas, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a secluded swimming pool with sun loungers, a well-considered day room with a bathroom for early arrivals and late departures, as well as a garden area. The restaurant offers a set menu for dinner and à la carte options for lunch. There is a coffee/tea station in the reception area to keep you coasting over between meals.

The rooms

Just nine rooms (four double rooms, three twins and two for families) are spacious, with en-suite bathrooms featuring thick, fluffy towels, aircon, wi-fi connectivity and satellite TV. The modern minimalistic style continues in the neutral-coloured bedrooms rooms accented with bright pops of colour in the cushions. All are extremely comfortable and a stylish place to lay your head before or after adventures into Namibia's wilderness.

Activities

Relax beside the pool or don your visitors' gear and head into the city – the staff will advise you about the attractions, shopping and restaurants, and arrange taxi bookings. Buy handmade memorabilia for yourself and family back home, visit restaurants for a little Southern African cuisine, explore the museums, markets, botanical gardens and nearby nature reserves, then head back to the guesthouse for tea and a dip.
