Garonga MCH Luxury Tented Camp

The vibe at MCH is vintage yet quirky, and features eye-popping textiles and rugs, wingback chairs, and painstakingly-chosen decor. The main camp has both indoor and outdoor dining areas where you'll tuck into unique creations by the chefs, including incredible breakfast spreads. You can curl up in front of the fire in the library with a book or head to the infinity pool for a dip and to soak up the sensational views. In the evening, the Bush Boma and firepit is the perfect spot for enjoying an aperitif.

With approximately 70 square metres of floor space, you'll be more than comfortable in one of the tented suites. A large, net-enveloped bed and lounge area opens onto a private deck and stellar mountain views. The bathrooms are rather handsome with double basins, indoor and outdoor showers, and alfresco tubs – a bubble bath is a must. The tents have a triple-layer membrane to keep them cool in the summer, as well as aircon and fans.

Your time is completely your own at Garonga MCH. When you fancy venturing out, there are state-of-the-art game vehicles to explore in – keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five as well as cheetah, wild dogs and an array of plains game. There is also the option of a walking safari for a closer look at your natural surroundings. The camp also offers fixed wing flights for astounding views of the reserve and mountains.
