The rock and thatch guest area captures the feel of the bush perfectly, with contemporary touches and unusual vintage pieces reflecting the owner’s love of Africa. Wide decks curve around the infinity pool, with sweeping views of the bushveld. There's a well stocked curio shop, plus a snug library with an open fire during chilly winter spells. Meals are served on the main deck, with evening dinners in the boma, or out in the bush for something extra special.
Five spacious thatch and stone suites, each with its own private deck and plunge pool, are lavishly decorated and feature ball-and-claw Victorian baths, copper basins, indoor and outdoor showers, with vintage furnishings throughout. This is a decidedly unique bush retreat with no shortage of stylish comforts. Artworks created by the owners, and individual touches inspired by their love of Africa add a personal stamp to this exclusive lodge which retains its original homestead feel.
Early morning and late afternoon game drives offer the chance to view a wide variety of game, and predators in particular. Diverse and scenically beautiful terrain supports a thriving population of wildlife, and bird watching is excellent. We recommend guided bush walks with experienced guides and trackers - a great opportunity to stretch your legs and discover otherwise hidden facets of the bushveld at your own pace. Adventurous overnight walking safaris and bush sleep-outs may also be arranged.
A collection of private reserves with exceptional wildlife viewing and a delicious selection of lodges.
