Set against the vast backdrop of the Serengeti, Intimate Camp Zebra offers a safari experience unlike any other. It's all in the name... here you'll see the Serengeti in all its splendour on a more intimate, connected level. Like its namesake, the tented camp moves seasonally, following the ebb and flow of the great wildebeest migration, giving you unparalleled views of one of the natural wonders of the world. But don't let the idea of a mobile camp fool you - Intimate Camp Zebra has all the comforts of a permanent safari lodge, too.

After the drama of viewing the migration, you need space to relax. Spacious but cosy, the lounge tent provides just that, and is just the place to sit back, sip something chilled, and reflect on the day's outings in quiet comfort. And whilst the camp may be rustic, that doesn't mean you can't dine in style. The home-cooked meals are excellent and ease perfectly into a nightcap at the communal campfire to trade stories and discuss what tomorrow might bring...
The camp has 12 tents, each with a spacious bedroom area, private veranda, solar-powered electricity, and WiFi. All have en suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, showers, and flushing toilets - and views of the Serengeti stretching into the distance. Of the 12 tents, two are larger, family sized units with two bedrooms.
Camp Zebra is all about the wildebeest migration and as the biggest overland animal migration on the planet, it's not to be missed! That said, the Serengeti has countless other species to spot, both big and small, whether you're on an expertly guided game drive or a hot-air balloon safari. And don't forget those binoculars for the exceptional birdlife. If you've had a long day, spend the afternoon spotting the inhabitants of the Serengeti right from the comfort of your veranda... The camp is truly in the heart of the wild.
Experience a unique perspective of the Serengeti from above on a hot-air balloon safari.
The lodge prides itself on having as small an impact as possible on the environment, so electricity and hot water is solar-powered - and ask the team to tell you about the camp's other eco-initiatives.
The camp welcomes families and always has a Maasai warrior on guard, but with no fence it is open to the wilderness, so might not be ideal for small children.
