Every corner of the Ishq Villa is perfectly curated, from the fine wooden breakfronts in the dining room to the stand-out artworks. Breakfast is a buffet but all other meals can be ordered from the a la carte menu, which includes Sri Lankan classics and North Indian and Persian fusion. Adorned with honey-coloured wooden panels, eye-catching wall hangings and antique furnishings, the four suites each have a King-size bed, richly textured carpets and a comfortable living area (some are larger than others). One opens directly onto the rooftop terrace, which feels like your own private garden while another has French doors leading towards the pool. The bathrooms are well-appointed with twin basins and a rain shower, while other amenities include aircon, a smart TV and wifi.
