The main area comprises a spacious lounge with two comfortable seating areas, indoor and outdoor dining tables and an adjacent open-plan kitchen with a bar counter. Fold-away wooden shutters blend the inside with the outside environment. The wooden floors extend seamlessly onto the deck, where a plunge pool beckons. There is Wi-Fi throughout the house and, in addition, all the facilities at the nearby Jabali Ridge Lodge are available to Jabali House guests.
The house can accommodate six guests in three separate bedrooms. There are two huge master suites, with king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms boasting indoor and outdoor showers. As with the lounge, wooden shutters can open completely, creating the impression of no boundary between you and the bush. The third bedroom has twin beds and is substantially smaller, though it still has an en-suite bathroom. Warm, earthy tones and a generous use of wood blend well into the natural environment.
Your private guide will lead you on fascinating bush walks and exciting day and night game drives through this stunning region of the park. The combination of impressive trees (especially the baobabs), open grass plains, dense woodland and sandy river beds provides a dynamic environment and an abundance of game, matched by a huge diversity of species. And the best part: you get to explore at your own pace with a guide dedicated to maximising your every sight and sound.
Jabali Private House is owned by Asilia Africa who pioneers sustainable investments in vulnerable East African wilderness areas, fostering conservation economies for local communities and increasing biodiversity. Through collaboration with stakeholders and guest contributions, they achieve significant positive impacts. Their latest project, focusing on the Usangu Wetlands in Tanzania's Ruaha National Park, aims to promote sustainable tourism while preserving the region's unique ecosystem and biodiversity, ensuring long-term benefits to conservation and local communities. A contribution of $10 per guest, which is included in the nightly rate, goes towards the above goals.
Escape the crowds in this rugged park where 10% of the world’s lion roam amongst the mighty baobabs.
