The resort sprawls across 10 acres of land, hemmed by both jungle and beach. There's an incredibly romantic treehouse restaurant and bar (try the coconut rum cocktail), and the Uga Spa is just nearby. There's also a pool, shaded by the trees and beautifully cool at all times. Head to the restaurant for a romantic dinner a deux and choose from a whole host of options from seafood, to grilled meat, to pasta. If you want to mix things up, head down to the beach bar and restaurant for a little al fresco luxury.
There are 48 thatched rooms sprinkled across the property, maintaining just the right amount of eco-chic amid the foliage. Lagoon cabins offer glorious views especially from the upper levels, jungle cabins are nestled in the thick of the vegetation, and beach cabins will lead you right out into the sandy paradise beyond. The jungle cluster cabins are perfect for groups, keeping you all nearby but offering a good deal of privacy too.
Whale-spotting boat trips, diving and snorkelling in Pigeon Island Marine National Park, jet skiing across the open waters, visiting local temples, cultural tours of the nearby town, trying your hand at deep sea fishing, learning how to make traditional kites... and that's not even everything!
Escape the tourists in this north-eastern piece of paradise that the crowds are yet to find.
