Kimondo Camp has eight en-suite tents, each with their own view of the seamless, unending wilderness. The tents are evenly distributed on either side of the two central tents. The decor is classic and simple, with all the necessities required to provide refuge from the midday heat, comfort and ultimate relaxation. Each tent has a small private veranda with a recliner style chair from which to admire the stunning landscapes.
The Serengeti is a national park and, as such, activities revolve around daytime game drives in the heart of the Great Migration. With a team that’s worked together for years and some of the best guides in the business, the game drives at Kimondo are seamless and will always take you to heart of the migration action.
If big cats are your thing, head to Kimondo when it’s in the northern Serengeti. The area is known for its incredible predator action alongside the spectacle of the migration and the iconic river crossings.
Kimondo is a small, cosy camp which is all part of the charm, but the tents are quite close together and when you’re sitting on your veranda, you might catch the eye of fellow migration-watchers in neighbouring tents.
