About KK Beach

Equal in aesthetics & soul, KK Beach has everything needed for a top-notch summer holiday
In a sequestered spot along the south coast, KK Beach sits pretty just metres away from the silver sands. Every space at KK is styled to perfection with brazen paintings by Sri Lankan artists occupying the walls and a soft tones throughout the open-plan lounges - a relaxing place to enjoy a book and a chilled beverage. There is much to see and do as well, from very swimmable beaches and diving hotspots, to cinnamon plantation tours and bicycle rides down quiet Galle lanes. And, just a few steps across the well-manicured lawn will have you standing on the beach, where long, ambling walks are a given.

Property details

The property

Out front, there is a pristine, 20-metre swimming pool flanked by a bevy of neon orange umbrellas and loungers. The Bamboo restaurant is fittingly decorated in palm motifs, and serves a range of seafood, barbecue and curry dishes. You could even enjoy a private dinner on the beach! The bar is a casual, warm place to enjoy a drink in between activities and the shimmering cerulean ocean is visible from most of the airy lounges.

The rooms

KK Beach has just 10 rooms, each opening onto a balcony with cafe seating and killer ocean views. Every room is furnished with driftwood-style desks, woven lampshades and King-sized beds draped in white and blue Egyptian cotton. The bathrooms are spotless and spacious with a deep tub and walk-in shower. The largest suites feature a lounge area (which can also be used as an additional bedroom or indeed, an in-room massage...), twin sun beds and wide, floor-to-ceiling windows.

Activities

Whether you'd like nothing more than to lay in the sun all day or do Galle like a local with hours of surfing, snorkelling and swimming, there's something for everyone. For the nature lovers, there are whale-watching catamaran cruises; for the anglers, there are big game fishing expeditions; and for the history buffs, there are enthralling walkabouts at Galle Fort, where its backstory is shared by 3rd generation residents. A short way inland, you'll also find fragrant cinnamon and tea plantations to stroll amongst for a true taste of Sri Lanka!
