The property

Surrounded by lush greenery, the long infinity pool overlooks the tranquil Campuhan River and is surrounded by plenty of sun loungers to recline upon. Set on the banks of the river, the spa offers a range of heavenly treatments drawing on ancient Indonesian herbal recipes. At mealtimes, the Seneng Kitchen serves a range of international and Indonesian dishes, its walls adorned with unique decor and chandeliers dangling above. There's also a poolside bar where you can grab something chilled to drink or tuck into the complimentary afternoon tea.

The rooms

Overlooking dense tropical jungle and shimmering rice paddies, there are 44 suites and villas, all with a fresh, mod aesthetic, marble floors and bathrooms with deep tubs. Each room has a chic living area and spacious balcony, as well as a walk-in closet where a soft cotton tunic hangs. Other thoughtful extras include straw hats and bags and freshly-baked cookies. The largest room type are the villas, which boast their own pool.

Activities

The resort offers a complimentary shuttle service into central Ubud, where you can wander from one art museum to the next, visit the Ubud Palace, and peruse the local market for handmade souvenirs.
