This cross country expedition takes you from the low grassy plains of Lewa Conservancy, through thick forests, across raging rivers and finally finishes atop the rich Laikipia plateau with spectacular views of Mt Kenya. You can embark on this unique trip for up to 10 days with as few or as many stops as you would like.
Comfortable mobile tents are set up for you ahead of your arrival at each stop. The campsites are generally spacious, luxurious and totally private as they pass through relatively unknown and unexplored areas. You will camp at each stop for 2 or 3 nights and embark on a number of activities during the day.
You will travel by horseback from camp to camp. During the days you aren’t on the move you will enjoy evening rides, bush walks and game viewing from the comfort of a safari vehicle. Your last stop is at the luxurious Sosian Lodge where you can enjoy creature comforts after your long journey.
