Last Word Madikwe Bush House

The main areas consist of a cosy lounge, reading area, and lovely shaded garden with a rock pool. There is an active waterhole in front of the lodge which is floodlit at night for 24-hour viewing. The underground hide is a new addition and has spectacular views of animals and birds at close quarters. Breakfast is served outside in the beautiful garden while dinner served in the boma (outdoor enclosure) next to the open fire under the African sky.

The Bush House is a lovely homestead with six comfortable bedrooms forming part of the main lodge. They consist of double rooms, twin rooms and family rooms. The rooms have air-conditioners and fans and feature percale bed linen, and en-suite bathrooms. The bathrooms have separate baths and showers with a variety of toiletries. Four of the rooms have private verandahs, and one overlooks the garden and waterhole. Complimentary wi-fi is available.

Go on two daily game drives in the magnificent Madikwe Game Reserve. There are special game drives for children under six. Nature lovers will enjoy the exciting bush walks which focus on the smaller African wildlife, birds and insects. Spend hours at the underground hide which offers close-up views of wildlife at the waterhole . Guests can also relax at the pool, enjoy a game of cricket, rugby or soccer on the lawn or get pampered at the beauty salon.
