Le Récif Hotel

A large circular structure, open sided to allow the breeze to travel through serves as the main dining area. Rich, dark slatted wood shapes the triangular ceilings and simple furniture allow you to dine while looking out over the property. Large spaces of manicured garden dotted with palms lead down to two fenced in side-by-side swimming pools with plenty of loungers for soaking up the sun.

Rooms are varied, from the more simple standard to the larger Junior suites with a little more wiggle room and lounge area. Simple caine furniture, bright tones of pink and creams offset with touches of wood round off a tidy and well kept atmosphere. Rooms on the lower floors have terraces , while the upstairs have balconies that overlook the gardens.

Reunion is an island that caters for the adventurous. You can go canyoning, hike along trails or up to volcanoes or explore underground lava tunnels. At the hotel there are tennis courts, volleyball court and a small gym and with the Ermitage Lagoon close by the hotel has masks, fins and snorkels for rental as well as stand up paddle boards. There is also a massage therapist available and a kids club to keep the little ones entertained.
