


The restaurant, reception and lounge area is decorated in natural tones and complimented by splashes of colour. The restaurant is a stone's throw away from the water and surrounded by tropical gardens in which tortoises roam. The in-house chef is known for using local ingredients, such as coconut milk, lobster, octopus, bread fruit and papaya, and producing famously flavourful dishes. Dinner guests can also enjoy soulful beats produced by local musicians who regularly perform at the restaurant.
Hotel Libertalia comprises of 8 double bungalows, 2 family units and 2 villa options. Every unit comes with spectacular 180-degree views of the ocean and is situated a few steps away from the beach. Nestled among palm trees, each bungalows comes equipped with fresh towels, mosquito nets, fans, warm water and private bathrooms. Local woods and falafa have been used to build the units and natural tones coupled with cheerful colour are used in the interiors. Daily cleaning services are offered to all guests.
Hotel Libertalia's signature experience is their whale-watching boat trips (offered between June and September - whale season). You'll come face-to-face with humpback whales that weigh up to 45 tons if you're lucky. Other activities around the hotel include hikes and mountain-bike excursions on the island's many trails and quad-bike adventures through the forest. Water enthusiasts can sign up for guided diving expeditions, snorkeling and kayaking trips to an inland waterfall. Be sure to walk to the nearby pirate cemetery.
