Property details

The property

If there's one aspect of Linhof that's especially striking, it's the expansive dining room area, which offers sweeping ocean views through floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors. Add to this an amazing, colourful and healthy gourmet breakfast and one might argue there's no better way to start the day! The comfortable, cosy guest lounge area is the spot to relax or read, in front of the fire.

The rooms

Linhof Boutique Guest House has six tastefully decorated rooms, each appealingly furnished with either a queen-sized bed, or twin beds (which can be converted into a king-sized bed if needed). The rooms are airy and chic in that stylishly uncluttered way, and with en-suite bathrooms equipped with a shower or bath. Each has a TV, wi-fi and lock-up safe – all the necessary amenities needed by a savvy, safe or connected traveller. The ocean is your constant companion.

Activities

When you've had your fill of beach strolls or admiring the ocean, head into Paternoster to explore its eclectic galleries and shops. Drive further afield to the spectacular West Coast National Park where, between August and October, you can enjoy swimming, whale watching and the explosive tapestry of wild flowers that carpet the veld. Note that summers (November to February), though hot, bring strong south-easterly winds; March and April are slightly cooler and calm; winters are cold and wet.
