On the edge of a rosewood woodland, the camp overlooks a vast plain with a highly productive waterhole. With large multi-level decks offering plenty of seating and dining and pool-side lounging, you'll be spoiled for choice. The pool itself is ample and always refreshing. The library/lounge is a cool breezy reprieve during the summer and a cozy refuge during the winter months - sip a sherry fireside while looking out through the enormous glass windows, or choose from the hundreds of well-curated books.
Seven double rooms and two family units host an intimate gathering of twenty two guests. Large four-poster beds with romantic safari textiles and furnishings and ceiling-to-floor sliding glass doors give these tents a chic and modern yet traditional feel. The especially adventurous will enjoy dozing under the stars on the open-air sleeping deck. Enjoy a drink on your own private deck, overlooking the plain and waterhole for relaxed, arm-chair between-activity game viewing.
In one of the most productive game viewing regions in Zimbabwe, with some of the most experienced and professional guides in Africa, the personalised, exclusive activities at Linkwasha are bound to wow both novice and veteran safari-goers alike. Whether it's an early morning game drive, a night drive in search of scarcely seen nocturnal wildlife, or a walk through the false mopani woodland to approach elephants on foot, the highlights of Hwange are wildlife, wildlife, wildlife. Be sure to tailor your expectations to the season, however - for the abundance of elephant and buffalo visiting during the winter months is a must.
Linkwasha Camp is owned by Wilderness safaris which aims to double its conservation impact by 2030, protecting 6 million acres of land. Their framework focuses on Educate, Empower, and Protect pillars, building a conservation economy, nurturing future leaders, and preserving unfenced wilderness. Through immersive hospitality experiences and partnerships with nonprofits like Children in the Wilderness and the Wilderness Trust, they engage guests in conservation efforts and address diverse threats to wilderness, wildlife, and communities.
Spot enormous elephants and plenty of predators in Zimbabwe’s safari hotspot.
