Set in a lush and landscaped garden where you can spy wildlife of a smaller variety, Little Gorges is an intimate and secluded camp. Clad in stone and thatch, the communal area comes with a dining room, cosy lounge area and bar. You can also enjoy meals at rustic tables on the patio set along the cliff's edge. Spend time at the pool where sunset drinks are a must and partake in a spa treatment in a private corner of the garden.
Each of the five canvas-sided tents are set on a platform of timber and steel with a private veranda (just the place for a morning cuppa). The four-poster or twin beds are draped in a mosquito net and other features include a large vanity, a tea/coffee table and lamps dotted here and there. The en-suite bathrooms have a shower cut into the rocky terrain and double basins. The tents also come with ceiling fans, a well-stocked mini bar and trusty insect repellent.
Before you take in the always glorious sights of Vic Falls, enjoy Little Gorges' nearby trails. Stroll at the gorge's edge, along the Zambezi 200 meters below and catch the sunset at Peregrine Point. You can even picnic by the water's edge! Step it up a notch with white water rafting or the myriad high wire activities in this neck of the woods. Take a guided wander atop Vic Falls or see this Wonder of the World from a boat cruising the waters at its base.
