Arriving at the reception you are immediately greeted by the beautiful view that dominates this lovely location. Large gardens with paved, winding pathways leading around manicured gardens out towards the oceanside and lagoon bay dotted with coconut and filao trees. There are three swimming pools to choose from as well as four different restaurants under high wooden beamed thatch roofs. Just make reservations early as they often become booked up days in advance depending on the season.
This is a fairly large resort hotel with 198 rooms, suites and villa spread across the property. The superior, Junior and Deluxe rooms are light and orderly, some furnished with a balcony or terrace facing the sea. The superior ocean rooms offer up more space. The style across the board is ever so slightly dated, but everything kept clean and comfortable. There is an adults only area of the hotel if you are seeking out slightly more solitude.
Indulge in every conceivable water sport till you start growing gills. There is windsurfing, kayaking, water skiing, sailing, snorkelling boat rides, big game fishing and nearby diving facilities to keep you in the sea and sun for days. For those that prefer land there is volleyball, tennis, a decent gym and spa as well as a nearby golf course. The beach water is cloudy due to the resorts location, so snorkeling and diving are done outside of the resort grounds.
