Manga Soa's open-air restaurant overlooks the sea and is the place of legendary, homemade breakfasts and fresh seafood dinners. The lounge, a beautiful creation of Rosewood timber and Indonesian chic, is the perfect post-dinner spot to listen to the regular live pianist (iced cocktail in hand, of course). There's also an outdoor pool overlooking the aquamarine waters, and a private beach exclusively for guests.
Manga Soa has six pretty bungalows and one private villa dotted amongst the coconut palms and mango trees above the ocean. Interiors are Indonesian in style and wonderfully soothing, with rich timber textures, white linens and bold orange fabrics. All have private bathrooms, minibars, lounge areas and TVs. Throw open the huge folding doors to reveal the private balcony and sublime views of the Indian Ocean - and leave them open all night for the perfect morning wake up call as the sun rises across the water...
When you're not relaxing at the pool or sunbathing on the private beach, there's plenty to do around Manga Soa. Adventure activities include cycling, hiking, fishing and snorkelling and day trips can also be arranged to Tenikely, where you'll snorkel among turtles, barracuda and dolphins, and have lunch on the beach,, to Lokobe Nature Reserve to see the curious lemurs and the extraordinary fauna and flora of Madagascar, and to local markets and villages for a glimpse of the cultural side of Madagascar.
Madagascar’s top beach location is low-key, heavenly and offers tranquil land and water activities.
