Uncomplicated and basically decorated with traditional artefacts, traditionally crafted wooden folding chairs and rattan couches the thatch roofed main house is a lovely spot to dine and relax. People will tend spend time in their cottages, in the camp sights or around gardens to while away the hours, as the space around lends itself to admiring the outdoors long into the night. An outdoor fire pit with views over the lake is the perfect sundowner spot.

The delightful and spacious cottages scattered around the gardens come either with or without terraces, some facing out over the lake while others are set amidst the foliage. Self contained, each is neatly done up with double or single beds, slightly dated but still perfectly decent rattan furniture and mosquito nets (not that you would need them at this altitude) There is also a campsite option available, with clean ablution, shower and barbecue facilities.

Take part in the Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest or Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, which is an experience of a lifetime. The sheer beauty of the lake and surrounds of the resort is not to be underestimated. You can often spot different species of monkey and birdlife on the lake is prolific. There is boating, fishing, swimming or walking the nearby trails and visits to a nearby dripstone cave, Mahoma Waterfalls and "the Top of the World."
