Across the two isles, there are five restaurants, which offer a wide variety of cuisine. Enjoy mouth-watering South Asian dishes at IndoCeylon (the 36-spiced masala prawns are really something to write home about!), world-class seafood at M6M, and lunch at the RAW sushi bar - wait for your spicy tuna roll on the beach whilst sipping on a fresh watermelon juice. Drinks are served at the poolside Joie de Vivre or the adults-only 'Gin Is In' - try their signature Sea Dew cocktail. The over-water spa is a delight with elemental treatments, a salt water pool and glass-bottom floors.
Designed with a pleasing tropical style and bright hues, there are 94 villas, split between WIND (built over the lagoon) and EARTH, which sit amongst the palms on the beach. The former enjoy catamaran nets, glass-bottomed lounges and decks leading straight into the sea, while the latter boast private gardens and stretch of beach with thatched loungers. All villas feature an indoor-outdoor bathroom with a huge tub and monsoon shower. Some villas also boast a private pool with fibre-optic lighting - yes please!
Enjoy laidback cycles round the island, dips in the pool and movie nights under the stars. The resort's house reef offers incredible snorkelling and excursions via a mini submarine. The island isn't far from epic dive spots where you'll see butterfly fish nibbling on coral, eagle rays, sea turtles and maybe even a whale shark. This is the Maldives, so watersports are available by the dozen and the perfect end to a day here? Cruising over the lagoon at sunset. There's also plenty to keep the kids busy, with everything from nature walks to treasure hunts.
1,200 Indian Ocean islets that live up to every coconuts-and-beach-huts cliché – and then some.
