We don't throw this word around, so we mean it when we say the tents are a real luxury. Settled on the namesake ridge, the tented suites have super-king size beds under sheer, grey netting and whirling fans, light wooden furnishings, and a delightful stone bathtub with views that deserve mentioning. Sit out with a freshly ground coffee on your multi-level veranda as the wildlife comes and gos, enjoy a dip in the private pool and, if you can't get enough of the view, sleep under the stars on the rooftop bed.

Join your seasoned guide as they lead you into this wild world, learning to recognise bird calls and hoofed tracks, and spying on Zambia's natural microcosms. There are also night game drives on offer and with infrared spotlights, you'll spot all manner of big cats and beasties. During the day, have your camera at the ready to capture a hippo mid-yawn, African painted dogs in greeting, and the colourful flight of a bee eater.
