The resort's main area is at the highest point of its 23 acres. Here, you'll find the Rumari restaurant, Southeast Asian delicacies are served alongside an award-winning wine collection. To top it off, 80% of the ingredients are sourced from Indonesia, and many are grown in the on-site Farm Terrace garden. The Writers Bar is a fantastic spot for sundowners, or head to the torchlit Loloan Beach Bar & Grill for wood-fired pizza and craft cocktails.
Scattered across the gardens, there are 32 villas, each one boasting a private pool and oversized gazebo for soaking up the ocean views. The interiors have a timeless, classic Balinese aesthetic with polished hardwood floors and soft batik tapestries. The bathrooms are soothing and spa-like with enormous bathtubs by the windows. Most of the villas are one-bedroom but there are also two to four-bedroom options, while the Presidential Villa enjoys butler service, a large pool, daily in-villa spa treatments, and a dedicated chauffeur.
When you're not reclining by the 25-metre infinity pool or splashing in the sea, there's plenty to do at Raffles. Play a game of tennis, hike into the hills or learn to make traditional Jamu (a herbal medicine). Then again, you might prefer to enjoy the watersports at Tanjung Benoa, go river rafting, or visit the iconic Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple and watch the Kecak dancers. Also on offer are full-day trips to nearby islands by private yacht, which are always a highlight of a stay.
