Property details

The property

The interiors ooze tranquillity, with their colonial charm and the best-quality linens, toiletries, etc. African touches can be seen throughout, in the dark wooden furniture and artworks. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, so you can self-cater – although a private chef can be arranged. Dine by candlelight in the delightfully old-fashioned dining room, or book a table at the restaurant at Epacha Game Lodge, also in the reserve. When booking your chef, request your private wildlife guide too.

The rooms

This three-bedroomed villa sleeps six in the height of elegance, so it's perfect for family getaways or for couples wanting space and utter privacy. The bedrooms are chic and uncluttered, with dark floors that gleam, large windows letting in the light, comfortable beds, fabrics in cool bush colours, spacious bathrooms, and air-conditioning. The rooms offer easy access to the garden and pool, perfect for early-morning dips and to take in the sunset.

Activities

Head out on morning, afternoon or evening game drives, or even a guided bush walk to explore the smaller creatures and desert bushveld vegetation. Test your aim with clay-pigeon shooting out in the veld. Enjoy meals made to your wishes by your private chef, or if you're looking for company, join other guests for breakfast or dinner at nearby Epacha Lodge and Spa. Visit the traditional Himba village, or take a guided excursion into Namibia's iconic Etosha National Park.
