Property details

The property

Take your pick of places to relax - choose from the colourful inside lounge with a grand fireplace or the outdoor deck and courtyard with views of the valley beyond. A gorgeous pool area with a natural rock wall, cushy loungers and a heated swimming pool, make it a favourite amongst kids and adults alike.

The rooms

Each of the five rooms at Sarili is ample and outfitted with mod-cons including wi-fi and air-conditioning. Two rooms lead directly to the courtyard/pool area. Each river view room has a bathtub, large shower and plenty of closet space. Sarili's style is modern living in the middle of the bush, which might be too close-to-home for those wanting a more raw and rustic safari experience.

Activities

A friendly, knowledgeable local guide will accompany you throughout your stay. Morning and afternoon game drives will afford you access to the majority of the reserve's wildlife. Drives continue on into the evening to catch some of the nocturnal life in action. To slow the pace and get an intimate glimpse of the area's geography, plant and birdlife, take a guided bush walk. Don't miss out on the renowned wildlife rehabilitation centres and sanctuaries that make Shamwari a key player in the conservation world.
