The property

Every space in Sirai house has been carefully crafted to be eye catching, polished and high class and none more so than the focal centre of the house ,the Drawing room.With its high makuti thatch ceilings, elegant furnishings in natural shades of leathers, cotton and suede, carpeted with persian rugs, a giant carved sandstone fireplace emanates a warming glow across the entire length of the room.The views over the ridges of Mount Kenya and the Laikipia region in every direction.

The rooms

Six suites are individually designed to the highest of luxurious standards. Some are more contemporary in style, while other reflect a quite natural elegance with sandstone, natural marble and textured fabrics. The treehouse room , with its recovered Mount Kenya cedar wood paneling, is alluringly set amongst the bush while the master suite has a private terrace with infinity pool. Outdoor showers, sunken marble baths and granite flooring will make you hard pressed to ever leave your room.

Activities

There are a host of activities available to really experience the natural side of Mount Kenya and surrounds in style and comfort. Bonface, the resident guide, can take you on a walking safari. There is also a private game viewing vehicle at your disposal 24hours a day. Camp under the stars, or enjoy a one of a kind picnic in the wilds. On site stables with a team of grooms and a stable master are available for outrides.
