About Stanley's Kopje

Stanley’s Kopje perches high on a rocky outcrop, enjoying fine 360 degree views over the surrounding Mikumi wilderness, whilst the 12 tents are spaced around the lower perimeter of the hill, with stunning views across the plains. The tents are pitched on high wooden platforms with traditionally built thatched roofs which provide shade from the sun while you sit on your veranda and enjoy the game around the camp. The little-known Mikumi National Park is well stocked with big game and a wide variety of birds, all set in beautiful golden grasslands, against a backdrop of Uluguru mountains and Mikumi Hills.
