Exposed wooden beams, high thatched roofing and cobbled stone walls create a decidedly unhurried and easy going atmosphere around the hotel. Decorated with neat, wicker pod seats scattered around the reception and outside bar area you can feel the sand beneath your toes as you sip on your cocktail. Two decent sized swimming pools are nestled between the gardens and palms, lined with loungers and sun umbrellas. There is a great outdoor family play area for the kids.
Double story, white washed stone and thatch structures are dotted around the palm fringed gardens of the hotel-a total of 61 bungalows across the property. Each of the rooms are basic in style but still comfortable and very adequately furnished with light green and wooden accents. Upper floors tend to be lighter and come with their own balcony, while the ground floor superior rooms are a bit more spacious. If you want larger pillows don't hesitate to ask the staff.
Being in such close proximity to Belle Mare beach you can expect to participate in all the typical beachside fun and folly. In the lagoon there is kite surfing, diving, snorkeling and trips on the glass bottomed boat if you prefer to stay dry. On the hotel grounds you can while away your daylight hours lounging by the pool or booking a spa day to massage out any work stresses. The traditional Mauritian dancers in the evenings light up the night.
